Porter Industries is a steel fabrication business. We engage in the production of

various steel fabrication projects in accordance with the designs and concepts of

our customers. Porter Industries is dedicated to executing a project according to our customer's concept while building valuable relationships with transparent and

honest communication and service. Integrity matters at Porter Industries and we

strive to handle the complete customer experience with it.

Porter Industries is a HubZone Certified Small Business located in Franklin Furnace, Scioto County, Ohio. Some of the equipment utilized by Porter Industries, include but are not limited to, welders, bandsaws, drill presses, TIG Welders, MIG welders, horizontal bandsaw, metal plate rolls, and a CNC plasma cutter.

Porter Industries opened its doors in July 2021. Although the company is new, the experience of its workforce is not. Jared Porter has 25 years experience in the industry as an Ironworker, including serving as a Construction Job Superintendent specializing in steel erection. Jared previously served as Vice President of a steel fabrication shop from 2016 – 2020 when the pandemic sent him back in the field as a Construction Job Superintendent.

In addition to Jared’s experience, Porter Industries has a huge asset with our Project Manager, Nicholas “Nick” Pemberton. Nick has 20 years experience in the industry as an Ironworker. Nick also served as a Construction Job Superintendent specializing in steel erection before taking the position as Project Manager in 2018 with a local steel fabrication shop. Nick joined Porter Industries as its Project Manager in July 2021.

Our shop consists of certified welders with experience in welding, cutting, fitting,

plasma cutting (including CNC plasma cutting), and reading drawings. They are

committed to completing each project safely, accurately with high-quality
